This is a follow-up to the story that was published by WIBW on January 28, 2019.  Emerald City Cosmopolitans raised $1060 for Isaiah at the Farkle Tournament Benefit.
The story read as follows:

Topeka's Emerald City Cosmopolitan Club partnered up with the Lazy Toad in Topeka to help raise money for a young boy's diabetic alert dog.

Five-year-old Isaiah Lewis was diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes nearly three years ago. His family is raising money to buy him a diabetic alert dog to help keep his blood sugar levels safe. The dog can detect spikes and can alert Isaiah and his family when his blood sugar drops below or spikes above a certain level.

Sunday afternoon the Emerald City Cosmopolitan Club - a group dedicated to helping those with diabetes - put together a Farkle tournament and silent auction at the Lazy Toad bar to help fundraise.

Lindsay Engelken, the president of the club says Sunday’s earnings will stretch beyond Isaiah’s alert dog. "Well half of the money we raise today will go towards a diabetic alert dog for Isaiah and the other half will go to the other partners that our club supports." Some of those partners include the diabetic learning center at Stormont Vail, the Topeka rescue mission, and a variety of other diabetic organizations.

Emerald City Cosmopolitans were able to celebrate our charter members who have been part of the organization since 2009.  We thank them for all the time and effort they have taken to make Emerald City Cosmos the best!
